Aqua-Pure Model DP390 DUAL-PORT water filtration systems provide consistenthigh-quality water for the multiple applications of cold beverages, ice, and coffeeat a combined flow rate to 15 gpm (56.8 lpm). Two separate streams exit themanifold. Both streams have reduced sediment and chlorine taste and odor. Onestream has added scale-inhibition media from a dedicated cartridge to reduce theability of calcium and magnesium to precipitate as hard scale on the evaporatorplates of an ice machine and/or the heating coils of a coffee brewer. The secondstream supplies cold beverage dispensers and includes no added scale inhibitor. DP390 combines chlorine taste and odor reduction with cyst, bacteria andsediment reduction, and provides protection from the harmful effects of scalefor total volumes up to 162,000 gallons (613,237 liters).
Features and Benefits
One system with dual outlet connections simultaneously supplies cold beveragedispensers and ice machines/coffee brewers for an entire store.
Up to 15 gpm (56.8 lpm) total flow of water especially treated for consistentgreat-tasting cold beverages, clear and consistent ice, and the perfect cup ofcoffee or tea.
Revolutionary Integrated Membrane Pre-Activated Carbon Technology ( IMPACT )dual-zone media cartridge construction combine s a membrane in series withpremium activated carbon to provide superior throughput and cartridge life.
Cartridge Life Guarantee*.
Certified by NSF to Standard 53 for cyst reduction (DP390 system).
NSF Standard 42 and/or FDA CFR-21 compliance provides assurance of safety.
The removal of 99.99% of common water-borne heterotrophic bacteria** bymembrane filtration, as measured by CUNO.
Reduced scale build-up on evaporator plates and heating coils from thecarefully-controlled (forced-orifice) addition of scale inhibitor, as tested by CUNO.
SQC Sanitary Quick Change encapsulated cartridge design allows forfast and easy change-outs with a 1/4 turn while minimizing the possibilityof leakage and contamination.
3/4 FNPT horizontal inlet and outlet ports allow direct or easily adaptableconnections to existing plumbing lines.
Auxillary inlet gauge port allows optional monitoring of differential waterpressure.
Exhausted cartridges may be incinerated.
System includes a three-cartridge manifold with built-in pressure gauge, inlet water shut-off valve, outlet check valve, mounting brackets, three cartridge filters and a dedicated scale inhibition cartridge.
Auxillary inlet gauge port allows optional monitoring of differentialwater pressure.
Inlet and outlet plumbing connections are 3/4 inch FNPT.
Large filter cartridges are double o-ring seal type.
System maximum operating pressure of 125 psi (862 kPa)and a maximum operating temperature of 100 F (38 C).
Recommended total service flow rate is up to 15 gpm (56.8 lpm).
Three large filter cartridges incorporate carbon block media protectedby a pleated pre-filter membrane. Fourth cartridge includes scaleinhibitormedia.
System is NSF Standard 42 and/or CFR-21 compliant.
Large cartridge bodies are constructed from high-impact glass-filledpolypropylene.
Cartridges are sanitary in design, requiring no contact with the filtermedia during cartridge change-out.
Filter cartridges require no pre-activation.
A NSF Performance Data Sheet (PDS) is included.
