Grundfos is pleased to announce the release of the MQ Mark III. This new design incorporates enhancements derived from
extensive field testing of the already successful Mark ll.
You can count on continued Grundfos quality with the MQ Mark III through the following improvements: Class A capacitor increases length of operation More robust Printed Circuit Board offers increased capacity to function during power fluctuations Potting material added to protect Printed Circuit Board components High Torque Motor assures positive starts Diffuser design increases hydraulic performance MQ Mark III continues to offer integrated protections which include: Motor Overload Motor Over Temperature Pump Dry-Run The MQ Mark III represents the continued product evolution you’ve come to expect from Grundfos and remains the versatile pump that is utilized in a variety of applications. Compact, all-in-one unit, designed for home water supply systems The Grundfos MQ is a compact all-in-one water pressure boosting pump unit, designed for domestic water supply and other boosting or lift applications. The MQ is a compact and reliable, easy-to-install water pump, with many standard features. The MQ is a self-priming multistage centrifugal pump. It self-primes from a well depth of down to 25 feet within a maximum time of 5 minutes. The MQ pump is also ideal for pressure boosting from water storage tanks or from city water supply (maximum 45 psi inlet pressure). The MQ pump is built for long life, trouble-free operation. It is made from weatherproof, corrosion-resistant materials and can be placed outdoors. EASY TO SELECT The Grundfos MQ makes it easy to select the right pump. The MQ is an all-in-one unit with two models to choose from. There is no need to worry about a separate pressure tank, pressure switch, electrical connections, fittings, or any other separate items. With MQ it is literally a matter of connect the power and turn on the pump. Installation of an MQ pump is simple and can be done in a matter of minutes, which gives you more time to relax. EASY TO INSTALL The MQ pump is easy to install. The discharge connection can move up to 5° to fit existing pipework, and the compact design makes the pump easy to place even where space is limited. Easy to select Easy to install Easy to operate The Grundfos MQ features an easy-to-use control panel with indicator lights for indication of: • pump on • auto reset • alarm (dry-running or overheating). In the event of dry-run, the pump will stop and afterwards attempt to restart automatically. Restarting can also be done manually. If required, the auto reset function can be disabled as well. General Description The MQ is a compact water supply system consisting of a pump, motor, pressure tank and controller combined in an integral unit. The pump starts automatically when water is consumed in the installation and stops when the consumption ceases. The MQ is a low-noise pump. The pump is self-priming and has a non-return valve incorporated in the suction port. The pump features a user-friendly control panel. The pressure tank incorporated in the pump reduces the number of starts and stops in case of leakage in the installation. The MQ pump has built-in over temperature and dry-running protection. Typical Applications • Water pressure boosting from city supplies or storage tanks (maximum inlet pressure 45 PSI). • Water supply from wells (maximum suction lift 25 feet). - in private homes, - in summer houses, - on farms, - in market gardens and other large gardens. The pump can be used for rain water. All parts in contact with the pumped liquid have been WRc approved Performance range: Flow up to 20 gpm Head up to 153 ft System pressure: Up to 109 psi Inlet pressure: Max. 44 psi Suction lift: Max. 26 ft Liquid temperature: 32°F to +95°F Ambient temperature: 32°F to +113°F Nominal voltage range: 220-240V (220 volt model) Weight: 29 pounds Dimensions: 12.6 x 22.4 x 8.7 (in) Thermal protection Yes Horsepower: 1.0 HP
