Recommended installation, insert a 1 by 1/2 FNPT by 1 reducing tee before the static mixer. Hook your chemical injection pump 1/2 MNPT injection nozzle to the 1/2 FNPT fitting on the tee fitting to inject your chemical immediately prior to the water entering the static mixer.
