Springwater Triple Whole House Water Filter

The 20" triple water treatment system features three 20" big blue filter housings mounted on a steel bracket.
First Filter: 1 micron sediment water filter made from pure polypropylene, no additives. Great for city, well and lake water, bacterially and microbially resistant.
Second Filter: Big Brand Water Filter 0.5 micron VOC coconut shell carbon block.
Third Filter: Big Brand Water Filter 0.5 micron VOC coconut shell carbon block.
The combination of a very efficient sediment filter along with very tight 0.5 micron coconut carbon blocks results in drastically enhanced reduction of a broad range of organic compounds.
This water treatment system meets the demands of most households and is ideal for taste, odor, color, chlorine, suspended solids reduction on city water along with low levels of iron and manganese on well supplies.
This system provides a foundational water treatment approach that can be built upon in years to come. You can add a UV water treatment system after the triple big blue water filter system to disinfect the water. A water softener for hardness reduction, and a reverse osmosis system for drinking water.
If you have tested positive for coliform bacteria, we recommend you run the 1 micron absolute first water filter for added protection along with a UV disinfection system. Bacteria and viruses tend to cling to particulate matter in your water. Using a finer prefilter removes suspended solids, allowing UV systems to be more effective due to improved water clarity and reduction of turbidity.
