•Type 1, Grade 1 (Cell Class 12454-B) meets ASTM D-1784.
• Approved by National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for usewith potable cold water.
• Meets ASTM D-2464 (threaded fittings).
• PTFE tape required for threaded fittings to prevent galling of threaded
fittings and is necessary for leak-tight threaded joints.
• Meets ASTM D-2467 (socket fittings).
• Gray in color.
• Fittings carry a pressure rating different from the pipe. Contact factory or
