Type 1, Grade 1 (Cell Class 12454-B) meets ASTM D-1784.
Approved by National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for use
with potable cold water.
Meets ASTM D-2464 (threaded fittings).
PTFE tape required for threaded fittings to prevent gallingof threaded fittings and is necessary for leak-tightthreaded joints.
Meets ASTM D-2467 (socket fittings).
Gray in color.
