Replace every 12 months to maintain proper ozone output.
Big Brand Water Filter has sold Triple O Ozone systems for nearly 20 years now. We have always had good experiences with their systems.
Triple O is a small family run business in California. The systems are made here have proven to be effective and reliable.
Most of our customers get many years out of the filter. It can be cleaned and reused BUT THE UV LAMP MUST BE CHANGED.
I HAVE CONVERSATIONS WITH MANY CUSTOMERS WHO SAY IRON OR MANGANESE IS COMING THROUGH NOW AND THEY HAVEN'T CHANGED THE LAMP IN A COUPLE YEARS.
FOR IRON, MANGANESE, HYDROGEN SULFIDE, MICROBIAL CONTROL, TASTE, ODOR AND COLOR THE LAMP MUST BE CHANGED ANNUALLY.
